Isn't the American medias preoccupation with Islam obviously propaganda?

You haven't noticed all the small attacks on US citizens lately? Driving an SUV into the campus quad. Randomly shooting people in a shopping mall. I have noticed that the media isn't calling them terrorists. Makes you wonder who's side the media is on.
