Why wont a song play all the way through on itunes?

i downloaded a song from ares, and when i try to play it on itunes, it stops about midway through, and goes to the next song. i know the rest of the song is there, because i can start it manually after the point where it stops the first time. is there a way i can just make it play all the way through, like it should
