What does it take for a young aspiring pianist?

I want to reach a goal someday. A goal to become the best I can be. A goal that will last forever and never perish. I set major goals, and I want to accomplish them. Pianist is one of them. I started piano lessons in early January of 2009. Week by week, I go to piano lessons, thirty minutes each day, each week. Day by day, I am a beginner whose mind goes a thousand miles a minute, discovering new paths in life. The piano is a wonderful instrument, wouldn't you agree? It takes pion, motivation, and skill, that I lack. Quitting has never entered my mind. As time progresses, my ability to play the piano increases gradually. It's a very tedious process. I want be that pianist where people listen and go "wow" he is excellent. I want to be able to sit at my piano, and enjoy soothing, relaxing, elegant clical music. I want to be able to express my feelings on the wonderful piano. Someday, just someday, I want to be able to sightread and play wonderful pieces by Beethoven, Mozart, and even Chopin. It doesn't feel like I have what it takes. Do I not have the natural talent/gift that other pianists have? What does it take to hear the beauty of the piano? As of now, I can play Clementi Opus 26 Movement 1, which is still a bit choppy. But my piano teacher showed me what to play, and I basically memorized. Any suggestions? How do you usually practice at the piano and how often?
