I need a quick home remedie for a tooth ache! My mom has no insurance...?

My mothers employer offers no insurance whats so ever, so she goes with out. Two days ago one of her teeth started to bother her. She can not afford to go to the dentist until pay day this friday. She is in pain, Tylenol is no longer helping her. I have given her a narcotic, ( illegal i know) but she cant eat and doesn't sleep because of the pain. she even has worked 2 12 hrs days in agony.. i feel so bad for her. Her credit cards are maxed and she has no one to borrow it from to get in any sooner. She does have an appointment friday morning when they open but what home remedies can she use until then that will help with the pain?
