Water heating pipe leaking inside wall.......?

Noticed water leaking through the wall where the hot water out pipe enters into the wall from the water heater. looks like it is leaking from the elbow of the copper pipe right where it goes down into the wall. I honestly could not agree with you more, studying is fun. I am actually thinking of studying law again (from home) but for my own amusement and to keep me out of mischief! I have bags of time and it would be a nice way to keep the grey cells out of mischief too. In years gone by, I would study for as long as I felt I was learning something and not getting bored. Frankly never timed myself. Besides I used to take breaks for coffee and smoke, read something light and return to the books.

I work for a very nice company that repairs roofs, and creates new ones through a Poly Fiber mesh and Bituman overlay. I know it creates a wonderful seal, and doesn't leave any seams or gaps. They even add on aluminum to the top if you ask for it, it's a little more costly but will help to save on cooling costs. The only drawback is that it can only be used on Flat and Metal roofs. Shingles are out of the question. Now we are trying to get people to take free estimates from us, but that doesn't happen too often. Why won't WMP recognize my mp3 player?

Ok i have a sandisk sansa mp3 player that holds about 200 songs and a micro chip thingy inside it that i bought that holds about 100 songs. I got a new computer a few months ago and when i plug in my mp3 player it doesn't charge all the way so i formatted my mp3 player to see if that'll help any. Now when i plug it into my computer windows media player won't recognize my mp3 player and when i go to start>computer and click portable devices it only show the micro chip internal memory and not the mp3 player itself. The same with windows media player it'll only recognize that micro chip and not the mp3 player itself. Now i could only get like 190 songs on there when before i had a little over 300 songs. Does anyone get what i mean? Does anyone know how to fix this problem. Thanks

A logical solution to the gay marriage debate ( in my opinion)?

Alot of people have alot of strong opinions on this topic, so I will just give mine. I am straight male and this topic draws intense emotions from people so therefore it can't be discussed rationally. There are two sides on this issue, one side says that marriage is between a man and a woman and we don't want to change the defention of marriage because of religion and there is another side that says it should be all the same. They should repeal the gay marriage ban and DOMA for equal rights BUT at the same time taking everything religious and anything that references god out of a marriage cermony. There can be a mulitude of options, if straight couples don't want their cermonies to be the same as gay ones they should have an option can that makes it completey different and they can even legally doent their marriage differently then a gay one ( Call it a traditional marriage or whatever) BUT at the same time it falls under the same Umbrella of marriage. UPDATE...my 3 conversations with the IRS!?

Ok, so this morning I had the same message as everyone else that my refund was DD on 1/23 and of course it is not showing in my bank. I called the IRS at 8:15am and after being on hold for 1/2 hour, the Rep had no clue what I was talking about with WMR and the refund hotline stating that DD was done on 1/23. She said NO refunds had been processed and NO ONE would get their refund until 1/30. She actually could not find our return, put me on hold for 10 minutes, came back and said she found it but it had not been processed yet but we should have our refund by 1/30. Not being satisfied with that answer, I called back around 9:30am. The 2nd rep pulled up our account and said that she could see it was processed and we would have our DD 1/30, and that there was a glitch with the computer system giving out bad dates. I figured I would do best of 3, so I called back one more time around 11am. The 3rd rep said yes there was definitely a problem with the system, and that if it originally said 1/30 to expect it then, but he would look up our account for sure. He put me on hold for about 2 minutes, came back and said yes we were a go for DD on 1/30. Each time I called, I did a different sequence of numbers to get to a live person, so I believe all 3 were in different call centers or areas. Trust me, I am VERY impatient when it comes to getting my money. But, I am convinced that it will be DD on Friday. Normally, we can see Friday's DD late Weds. or early Thursday (like payroll) so I will be checking all night tonight and all day tmw. If I notice it pending, I will update. I started piano lessons in early January of 2009. Week by week, I go to piano lessons, thirty minutes each day, each week. Day by day, I am a beginner whose mind goes a thousand miles a minute, discovering new paths in life. The piano is a wonderful instrument, wouldn't you agree? It takes pion, motivation, and skill, that I lack. Quitting has never entered my mind. As time progresses, my ability to play the piano increases gradually. It's a very tedious process. I want be that pianist where people listen and go "wow" he is excellent. I want to be able to sit at my piano, and enjoy soothing, relaxing, elegant clical music. I want to be able to express my feelings on the wonderful piano. Someday, just someday, I want to be able to sightread and play wonderful pieces by Beethoven, Mozart, and even Chopin. It doesn't feel like I have what it takes. Do I not have the natural talent/gift that other pianists have? What does it take to hear the beauty of the piano? As of now, I can play Clementi Opus 26 Movement 1, which is still a bit choppy. But my piano teacher showed me what to play, and I basically memorized. Any suggestions? How do i stop speed wobbles on my longboard?

okay so i've been long boarding for a while, and im fairly good, so the problem isn't me. i just got this new board a couple months ago, its the sector 9 sidewinder series Off the Wall 2. It has the double pivot gull wing sidewinder trucks which really give it a sharp turning radius and i have them tightened enough to where they don't get wheel bite. in other words, they're the loosest they could be safely. anyway, as soon as i get speed doing down a nice steep hill, i start to get what i think are speed wobbles. i haven't crashed yet but im worried that if i get enough speed it will be catastrophic. also, i found that it gets hard to carve when im going at a fair speed and i know i can do it. maybe im just worried my trucks are so loose that if i do try and carve sharp ill end up on the ground. they're double pivot trucks, so they're more complicated than normal trucks to tighten and loosen and ive already tightened them, but that just made it more easy to slip on gravel because of the amount i had to lean out. i just want someone to give me a few tips who actually longboards at high speeds like i do. no skateboarders unless you've had experience with longboards. thanks

Random pain in my spine?

An acquaintance of mine threw a beer bottle at me and damaged my car, where should go from here?

I was driving down a street with a friend and he came flying up on my tail. I stopped my car and so did he, but I got out to beat his *** because he wouldnt leave me alone and he threw a half full beer bottle at me from his drivers door and missed me, but hit and dented the trunk door of my car, then immediatly sped off. I knew if I were to pound his face in he would just call the cops and get an ault charge on me as he has done before to 2 other friends of mine. I'm wondering if it is normal to have more pain once a fractured foot is placed in a boot than before!?

I have fractured 2nd, 3rd and 4th metatarsals. After being undiagnosed for 5 days from initial injury and then being put in a semi- hard splint in the emergency room for another 7 days, I have now been put in a boot by the orthopedic surgeon for minimum of 6 weeks, instructed to only remove for showering. I'm actually having more pain in the boot than I've had for the duration of the injury. I ha been managing the pain pretty effectively with mainly ibuprofen and Tylenol and only relying on the prescribed vicodin to sleep at night (instead of every 4-6 hours like they suggested) as I'm uncomfortable really with taking any narcotics. Anyway, I feel that my pinky toe goes numb in the boot even when the straps aren't tight, where I didn't even have pain in this toe before! There is more pain all around now that I've been booted and I'm wondering if that's the normal health process or abnormal.. I'm dealing with this situation out of pocket with no insurance so am obviously trying to limit phone calls and trips to orthoped unless absolutely necessary.. Has anyone broken these bones before? Any enlightenment on yalls treatment/experiences/pain etc would be greatly appreciated as this is my first ever broken bone! Thanks guys!

I am a newly qualified teacher and my lecturer would not answer this question saying that it would never happen? But how is he to know! What I want to know is the legislation in place or the protocol for teachers if a pupil is physically violent towards them. My friend think its funny 2 scream but now wont stop?

My friend think its hysterical to scream. Not only does she find screaming herself funny, but hearing other people scream. She is 18, and records herself screaming and then begs me to listen to the recordings and laughs hysterically for hours at it. This is not surprising to me considering her older brother records himself farting. They also tell me they have recorded their screams and farts since they were children so they pretty much have a box set full of their screams and farts throughout the years. aww well you should definitely pursue your dream of becoming famous in the kpop world!. I think the best way would be to submit an audition video to jyp and/or other agencies you're interested in. since it is very difficult for you to be present at one of their US/Canada auditions, sending in a video of yourself singing/dancing would be the most effective way for you to show them your talents. You have a high chance of being scouted since you are Asian and cutesy. Some kpop idols that are famous today did not really have a formal audition, but agencies were still able to see that they had amazing talent and charisma. Don't be discouraged by the fact that auditions aren't held in the UK. You are still very young and agencies prefer the young ones anyways nowadays. In terms of which agencies to apply to, it seems like jyp and yg are two of the more popular but still kinder agencies. You can always apply to Cube, Brave Sound, Pledis Ent., and all the others. :) Good luck with everything, and hope that helps!

I’ve changed as person, I’m not what I was before, I’m different, & the bad kinda different too :( Ever since the begging of this year I’ve been…oh yeah btw (I’m size 6-8 in clothes) yeah well I’ve been, ummm… *bites lip* not…eating. & obviously my friends have noticed at lunch I eat absolutely nothing. my BFF who practically knows me better than myself, always asks me, “are you sure u’r okay, I’m really worried about u, you’ve been acting strange for ages and I wanna know what’s up?” & then I go off and be the terrible person that I am and say something so harsh like this, “OMG!!! damn it can’t you leave me alone for 5 ******** minutes, bloody hell, I’m fine now go away!!!” I said it to her so meanly that she ran off crying and didn’t wanna talk to me all day (can’t blame her). I’ll admit again, I don’t eat, but I know why I do it, strangely as it sounds, it make me feel better. I don't smoke and I don't eat alot of dairy products. All year long I will cough and sometimes get alot of phlegm when I do. It's usually yellowish green. I am a college sopre in a BS/MD program with a highly ranked medical school. My college places a HUGE emphasis on service. How can I convince my VP to replace my work cell phone with penalty fee to pay?

I am a remote employee for a large IT company, and I have a company-supplied cell phone that I use to keep in touch with the office for calls, voice mail, and IM. I absolutely hate my current handheld (HTC TouchPro2) and I avoid using it because it is such a pain. The touchscreen interface doesn't work well in general, and most things are so small I have to use the stylus to accurately interface with the device. Not to mention the idiotic limitations of the OS Verizon loaded on the phone that prevents me from doing some basic stuff like checking my local weather. So, I avoid using it as much as possible, enough that I'll postpone replying to an email until I can get to my company laptop which is connected to the server. I can limp along like this for another 1.5 years, but I would prefer to have a device that I like to use. How can I convince my boss that there is a business reason to spend the money for a different handheld? The cost is going to be $400 USD - not a huge amount for a big IT company, but still we don't spend money unless there is good justification. Had I known that it could be exchanged during the first 30 days for no fee, I would have pursued it then. But I was a new employee and that policy was either not brought to my attention, or I missed noticing it, until about 8 months into dealing with this piece of s**t, when I finally complained. My director said to ask my VP, so I have to come up with convincing case, and I'm hoping you all can help me. Thanks!

How can I transfer images from pictures/ newsprint/ postcards etc. to ceramic tile? I want to make a tabletop.

I wish to make a small, probably round dining table. I think gluing 4x4 or 2x2 ceramic tiles might be kinda cool, but I need to make it more interesting. I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer various types of images to the tile surface and glaze it on, or even etch it in some way. I thought about transfering images to carbon paper and paint on tiles, but I am no artist, and would surely screw up anything of any detail. HELP!!

99 honda shadow vlx 600 has vibration at speeds over 45?

just put on new tires and had them balanced. it vibrates after i reach 45 and higher. but the vibration is not constant. about every 5 seconds it will vibrate for a couple seconds and then smooth out and then do it again. when i pull the clutch while going those speeds it still does it so i thought it might rule out engine harmonics. any ideas?

I threw the chicken in the pressure cooker for 25 minutes and then I plan to remove the chicken and seperate the skin and bones after the pressure comes off and put the broth in the fridge to be skimmed off tommorrow. Estimated tax for independent contractor?

I have been an independent contractor for the past several years (averaging between 35-39k AGI). Every year, I send my taxes in by April (paid in full) and have never had any problems or penalties. The company I work for never withholds anything so it has been pretty much left up to me. I recently read that I am supposed to send in quarterly estimated tax payments every year! I have always used TurboTax for Business to prepare my returns and when I turned in last year's taxes it stated that estimated taxes were recommended but not required (as I generally preferred to make one lump payment versus four smaller ones, I did not choose this "option" ). Yet I recently stumbled upon evidence to the contrary on the IRS website. Now I found out that not paying estimated taxes and paying it the way I do is "illegal" and I could incur all sorts of fees (past and present). I am also a full-time student, so obviously I don't want to have any problems with the feds. What should I do? Should I pay my taxes like always this time around and start paying quarterly in April (for the first installment) for next year's, or will that make things even worse? Thanks!

My sister recently let a friend borrow her car. She did not ask why and the person did not tell. The person that borrowed her car went and robbed a few houses.
